TO TODD
by Pastor Dale Freeman
I seldom meet a person with what I perceive to be almost limitless possibilities. You,
however, are one of them. I love you more than I could ever express, and I marvel at
your talent and burgeoning abilities in so many areas. I know that God has a great plan
for you, and I pray that you’ll fulfill your purpose on this old earth. The only person that
can bring defeat and rob you of your dreams is you. Don’t let it happen!
I know that growing up as the youngest child is a mixed blessing. You certainly got a
break or two along the way, and yet it’s hard to travel a path that has already been laid by
those who have gone before you. I guarantee you one thing. From the first moment I saw
you, I’ve loved you...and you can be sure that I always will.
If talent were diamonds, and quick wit solid gold,
My youngest son would be a king, a site of wealth untold.
If he will use it wisely, and run a faithful race,
He will bring honor to his family, and leave the world a better place.
Love,
Dad
