I'M THE LUCKY ONE by JAKE THOMAS In God's house, a home He prepared, By keeping our faith, we will see Him there. As we trod along day by day, Praising our Saviour along our way. Are we contented, and never heard? Or are we spreading His Holy Word? If God should call us home tonight, Would our hearts be happy, or full of fright? I'm looking forward with joy and delight, That I might see Him one of these nights. Beware, my friends, cast out that hate. Get right with God, before it's too late. Be ever in prayer, read the Bible too, So you'll be ready, if He calls on you. Loving your neighbor and being a friend, Will be rewarding in the end. When I reach those pearly gates on high, My Lord will say, "Come on inside. Enjoy the treasures one by one, For you, my child, are the lucky one! May we all be ready. What a great day of celebration it will be when we step into His eternal presence! |
