BORN AGAIN * Arnetta McCartney

John 3:1-8

The man was called Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish sect.
As he came to Jesus one night, he didn’t know what to expect.

“Rabbi! We know you are a teacher and that You are from God above
No man could do these miracles, teaching and showing God is love.”

Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Verily, verily I say to thee
Except a man be born again, the Kingdom of God he cannot see.”

“But how can an old man be born? Must he enter the womb again?”
Then Jesus told Nicodemus, “Only the Spirit convicts men

Except a man be born of water and the Holy Spirit you see
He cannot enter the Kingdom. You must repent! Believe in Me.

Don’t be surprised that I tell you. Do not marvel! I tell you true
Fleshly men give life to flesh, but the Holy Spirit must be in you.”

“The wind blows where it pleases, where it comes from no one can know
So just as the Spirit gives life on whom He wishes to bestow.”

“Marvel not I say to you
you must be born again. ”
